Communities east of NSCC,on Akerley and on the Main Street corridor are directed to Cole Harbour and Portland St. before heading to the foot of Main Street or MicMacMall. The bus cuts across Forest Hills Drive to Cole Harbour instead of going straight down Main Street to the business district, the mall or downtown Dartmouth. MusqGo will start in November 2013 but will not stop along Main St.
On behalf of the Main Street Dartmouth Business Improvement District this petition is aimed at HRM Metro Transit authorities to make the required adjustments to the route or put in a new route on Main Street to enable communities in the Main Street corridor to efficiently access the business district, mall, downtown Dartmouth and Halifax.
