Hello everyone,

This petition is to help the students of India studying in China to raise their voice , to bring the attention of government of India towards an issue that we students are facing after Indian government decided to ban, 59 Chinese apps in India due to national security and data security purpose.

We students know that national security is a huge issue and need to be taken seriously but we students feel crushed between the ongoing disputes between China and India, and are worried about the future of our life in China.

So out of the 59 apps, one of them is WE CHAT, it's a messenger app similar to what's app which not only serves features of communicating with our parents in India from China, but also gave us students a platform to study and continue our course online from India itself, after covid-19 hit the world.

To bring under notice : This app was convenient, cheapest and easiest way to communicate with our parents living in India, while we were in China, because China has an internet censorship on what's app and many more apps too.

We chat was successfully working in both india and China before , since now it's banned, we are facing issues to continue our study in India.

Government need to answer and take responsibility of 30,000 Indian students who are studying in china, who due to government actions are not able to study online comfortably as before.

All we ask for is, please remove the ban on we chat, because we were very much dependent on it for studying online and also communicating with our parents from China .

Think about us.

Hope our voice is raised!!

Please share.
