I have contacted Stuart Anderson, who is the MP. For Wolverhampton. Wolves have from now until Burnley, and I want to send a statement out. Like an open letter, for everyone to read. I will post this up in other places, and expand also.

I don't dislike the FA. Despite my frustrations. I understand, that human errors can happen. I feel like adding criticism to the FA, isn't going to work. I just want to encourage them and motivate them to become better. Everyone has the chance to become better. Players, managers, and Refs. It can be intense, if you are an official, officiating a game. And you have lots of faces, in the stands. Not only that, but you have communication with VAR.

Now, I know VAR, is a new system. I really, really, am just trying to send a little message out to the FA. That, I don't want this whole petition, and campaign to be negative. I know in the grand scheme of things. I am nowhere near Compton. Or Stockley Park. Yet despite my anger, that has been shown previously. And I don't want to cause any offence to the FA. This is the last thing I want to do. I simply just want to add changes. Obviously, would I would hope, is that, the bullet points I have made. In my petition. The list of little adjustments that could be made. Could be taken into consideration.

I would say the same to anyone, have the same conversation to anyone, regarding, if you want to give someone a helping hand, and you want to help. Yet, at times, some times, you look back, and you wander if you just. Let your emotions get the best of you. I don't dislike any of the refs. This isn't what I am saying. I don't dislike any of the officials. I just think that, like I said. The bullet points that I want to add. And listen, I am in no position to tell someone how to do their job. I am not their manager, I am nobody really. Just one spectator, and one fan. Yet, I just feel that, in relation to this. To channel this energy, into being proactive, and trying to get to the source of why human errors happen.

I simply just want to say, that, listen, nobody is perfect. Nothing is perfect in this world. Yet, I think with what I want to see. I know it's difficult. Because it's so easy to talk, yet it's more difficult to act on changes. Especially when you have history, and it can become frustrating. I understand the job may have pressures, and the job may have problems. I am not trying to blame the FA. There is no blame. It's just, from an outsiders perspective. Some times, you can see things, that they may not have seen. So all I am doing, is trying to explain what I have seen.

Yet, I know to the PGMOL, it is probably frustrating, having this to deal with. Yet, listen, we all make mistakes. It's part of life. As we grow, and we get older, and everyone is learning. Even in your 50's and 60's people are learning. All I want to do, is be that little bit of motivation, just to add, to help the game. Because there are some games, that just flow, and are reffed really well. I really admire Michael Oliver for his officiating. All I am trying to say, is that, and I am not trying to be patronising. Some times, this applies to everyone. Some times. It depends on who you are. If you take a step back and look at a situation. Some times. Okay, so your initial reaction. I will give you an example. Say you are close up on a football player, and you see the action. All I am asking, is that officials, take a step back. Not to punish them. Just so they can see the game more easily. It's like with me. If I am looking at a tree. Yet I am too close. I am not going to get the image. If I am too far away. I am not going to get it either. Some times, from a psychological perspective. What helps me. Is I take a step back. I look at a situation. I look at how to deal with things pragmatically, and then I think about what I can do moving forwards. I try not to let my emotions get the best of me. Yet they some times do, with football, with life. It happens.

All an argument is going to do, is distract away from working together to reach mutual goals. I know Gary O'Neil is a bit tired, and he has his way of getting his point across. What I am saying, is, the guy is well intentioned. He's a new manager. He, in my humble opinion, doesn't have as much managerial experience, as some managers. So, just take what he says with a pinch of salt. Because he is learning, and adapting to the game.

He's a gentleman, he's not going to be angry or swear at the FA. I know the 'no flowers, no apologies.' Sounds sarcastic. I think all he is trying to say is actions speak louder than words. Yet I have said. I will say again. They do, however, I can understand under the circumstances. The mitigating circumstances, the FA have. With the heat, the pressure of the game. I am not pointing my fingers at anyone, or trying to give anyone a hard time. That's the last thing I want. All I want to do is appeal to Howard Webb's noble, human natured motives. His kind heart, and all of the officials out there with a kind heart. And to have complaints. I know it's going to feel, like you are being criticised, and you try to do your job properly. I am not complaining. I am like this with everyone. All I want to see, is people improve their game. Wether it's the FA, football players, people I meet, people I hear about. I am genuinely just a kind and compassionate person, who just wants the best for people. And when things go wrong. I try and guide them towards better ways. And I am not trying to patronise whatsoever. I am probably younger than most of these refs, yet, it's not always about life experience. As objective as I can be. And it's difficult because I will have the gold tinted glasses on, being a Wolves fan.

You know, I want to celebrate the good moments. I will say this now. That Michael Oliver. Just have a conversation with him. I would love to have a conversation with Howard Webb. I feel that all I can do, is suggest. That we work together to achieve mutual goals. Rather than it being a battle, and a Wolves v The FA. All I want is common ground, and that's all Gary does. I know our staff have complained, and been swearing. I know this has been dealt with. Football is a passionate game. People get passionate when watching the beautiful game. Deep down. 99.99% of people, just want love and kindness, and with Christmas coming around the corner. The last thing I want to do, is be in a position to have any hatred in my heart to hate anyone. Because I don't. I just want the best in people, and even though I am a Wolves fan. I still, want to be objective, and want to help. In getting, maybe some things implemented.

Yet, I would say this to anyone, not a criticism, not to patronise, just to say. That some times you can under think or over think a situation. Moving forwards. If Wolves FC can work with the FA to achieve mutual goals. I am sure a lot of clubs would support that. I also, don't encourage, and discourage any unlawful protests. As I want my petition to be a peaceful question just for little adjustments. Little things, we can maybe tweak to get things moving forwards. It's difficult for me some times supporting Wolves, and seeing the players, and obviously I care a lot about the players and the staff. Yet I care a lot about all of the players in the Premier League. All I want to see, is to look at the objectives, and maybe move forwards, and maybe get to the point. Where these mutual goals are worked on. Once these mutual goals are put in place, I think it will be okay. Yet I don't want it to be strung out for ages, and I think that most people would say. That we just love the beautiful game. That's all. I mean, I get annoyed with lots of things. Yet deep down. All I want is for the kind hearts, and the gentle minds, of all involved. To peacefully talk about reaching a solution. To a problem, that I think is easy to change. Yet, I think when Gary said. 'Let's not talk.'

I think, listen, the more you talk, the more you understand one another. Now I can't tell Gary what to do, he has his own life. I have my own life. He deals with things differently to how I deal with things. Like I said, I just care a lot about the beautiful game, and just wish. That, we can see more transparency. And this isn't a criticism. It's just some times, when you look at something. Your initial reaction, isn't going to be the same as the actual reaction later. A lot of officials, after their initial reaction is. 'PENALTY!' After they have had time, to talk, and discuss, and have a few soft drinks. They then decide. 'Ah actually, it wasn't.' It's a bit like with me. Some times I let my emotions get the best of me, and some times if I see something. And I react. Not saying you are over reacting. Just saying. It's like with me. If I see something, that I think I dislike. I react. Once I have had time to actually reflect. My reaction is much more reasonable. And all I am saying is, some times emotions get the best of me.

All I want to see, is this common ground, for transparency, accountability, and fairness. If we can still work on those three things, and look at having conversations. Rather than arguments. I think that we will be able to sort this out. Because I think I am capable enough to apply logic to a situation. Where I am not a football manager. I am not a coach. I am not under the stress of the job. As a spectator, despite supporting one club. Some times it's easy too see, what has to happen. All I hope for. Is for the VAR checks. Even if it takes a few minutes. Some people complaining about how long they take. I would rather a VAR decision, be talked about, thoroughly, and consistently. Rather than for it to be chalked off. On the other side of the coin. I think when you go to the screen. I think officials have to be aware of simulation and diving which can happen in football. The players who have dived, or tried to trick the officials into awarding penalties, some times can try to manipulate the game. And dive in a way, where they entangle their legs, with their opponent. If the officials can be more aware of diving and simulation, and the impact this has on Wolves. Because we want to be able to defend, without being worried about giving away a penalty.

Merry Christmas, to everyone. This is not personal whatsoever. Let's take the heat out of this, and have talks. I am quite happy to talk to anyone who wants to have a discussion over this. PGMOL included. I would encourage Gary, to keep doing what he is doing, yet, in these talks. It's just that common ground. I know people are going on protests. All I want to see, is fairness. I just want the beautiful game, to be more apparent. Because some games, are brilliant. Yet, there are lots of factors to talk about. And it's something that is going to have to be discussed.

I think the decisions in the game, have to be fair and accurate. The last thing I want, is for the officials to BUY into a DIVE that the Fulham player did. For the 3-2. Because it was a dive. I genuinely believe Michael Salisbury bought into the dive the player did. So we have to look at VAR from that aspect also. And get the awareness out there, that simulation, is happening more consistently. And all Wolves want to do is defend and keep as many clean sheets as possible. I know some times this doesn't always happen. I think under Lopetegui we had more clean sheets than Gary O'Neil. Yet I think Gary is good at keeping the margins more narrow.

Nobody should feel this petition is a personal attack. It's just a gentle reminder are all human and all make mistakes. No matter how well intentioned they are at the time. Yet the officials, during the game. So 90 MINUTES, plus stoppage time. It's got to be that objective look, we are talking about. To be impartial, and if Wolves gave away a penalty, that was a penalty. I wouldn't be a little bit disapointed. It's just a shame, those players who have dived, have conned the officials into giving the penalties.

In relation to the Jao Gomes hand ball. I can kind of see Rob Jones and his point, on the 'unnatural position of the arm.' Yet can I just say, that it wasn't intentional. I know the player very well. He would never do anything like that on purpose. Neither would any of our players. The players at Wolves, would never intentionally hand ball. I think that we have to look at intentions also. 'Did the player intend to handball it?' Because even if the arm is in an unnatural position. Some times, you could maybe look at, other factors. I think in that circumstance. Jao Gomes, was moving forwards, and because he was moving forwards. He accidentally swung his arm around, unaware of where the ball was going to go.

I would encourage Wolves players to keep their arms close to their bodies, in able to protect themselves, but we have to keep making challenges in the box. From now until Tuesday. I am focusing my energy on getting behind Wolves, and getting behind the team. Yet, that aside. If we can focus on the good times, not the bad times. Like the ref who officiated our win against Tottenham. He did a good job. There are good intentions of refs. Mistakes happen, yet to iron out these mistakes. All I want to do is be that motivation, for someone to think, 'you know what, this guy has a point.' And run with that baton. Because I know a lot of loyal, and highly intelligent people within Wolves FC. Who deep down.

They just want fairness and transparency, I think the anger, and the frustration. Is all part of the game, and the emotions that it represents. Yet I don't discourage talks. If anything I encourage positive talks, in a positive way, to reach a sensible compromise as a mutual agreement. Otherwise, all that is going to happen is, we get to the stage, where it gets too heated to sort out. That's the last thing I want.

Merry Christmas.
