Over 1500 Signatures in 4 Weeks; Can We get to 2,000 by the New Year?

Howard County taxpayers and parents are sick of the status quo. This is why over 1,500 of them have signed this petition to stop subsidizing developer profits due to low school impact fees.
One parent from Ellicott City wrote:
"This is becoming ridiculous. How about looking after the community instead protecting the developers and destroying Howard County."
Another parent from Columbia wrote:
"The impact of continuing to allow developers to have free reign is being felt in larger class sizes, lack of opportunities for individual attention and lack of space. If a developer wants to build, they should also contribute to the wellbeing of a community."
Too often the discussions around zoning and land use issues are framed as pro- or anti- developer stances, which only serve to stifle discourse and progress. These parents and taxpayers do not expect anything for free. They are simply asking developers to pay their fair share.
Please share the petition with your community to get to the next milestone. Can we get 2,000 signatures before the New Year?
