In a jurisdiction with very good public facilities and low impact fees, developers take advantage of the high demand and build like crazy.

At some point the excellent infrastructure will deteriorate and affect home prices because demand goes down.

Developers are betting that they will be long moved-on to other jurisdictions before that takes place.

The taxpayer is then left holding the bag.

Don’t let this happen. Demand higher impact fees.
