Fellow Petitioner's,
For those 20 or so who have joined us in the last 10 days, a sincere thank you! A total of 143 Petitioners to date.
Those who have yet to Vote, you have an opportunity to Vote in person between 2:00PM and 6:00PM on Wednesday prior to the AGM at the Gospel Hall.
The reason for the Petition is straightforward - the Referendum:
- A Project Forecasted to be $14.6Mil in the lead up to the Referendum both externally and internally up until 16 January 2026.
- Using Best Practices the Overall Cost is ~ $17.3Mil.
- The whole process was tainted, when a Project Manager was not Tendered for using Best Practices. Effectively allowing the Design Engineering Firm to be the Project Manager at the same time. The Classic Fox overseeing the Hen House. The same thing happened in 2015 with the St Mary's Water Treatment Plant. If the current process irks you, come out tomorrow night and express your displeasure If the current process irks you, come out tomorrow night and express your displeasure
