We want to remove Robert E. Lee as the street name and replace it with Morrow Williams Rd. This change will honor local educator, and retired Galena Park ISD Superintendent Dr. Angi Morrow Williams. Dr. Morrow Williams has served our community for several decades and her commitment to our children is evident in her work as an educator and district leader. Our children deserve to walk and live on streets named after people who are their allies and are committed to their development and success. Dr. Morrow Williams is someone that has directly impacted their lives and is a very tangible figure in our community. She represents for our community an ordinary person who's made an extraordinary impact.
