Last year, my Mum's Yorkshire Terrier/Jack Russell cross was savagely attacked by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, whilst out walking in a public park. The owner of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier did nothing to stop his dog from attacking my Mum's dog. This attack resulted in my Mum's dog undergoing a life-saving operation at the cost of £400.

I believe that the owner(s) of any dog which attacks another animal, should be held accountable and take responsibility for any bills incurred as a result of any injuries caused.
