Id like to take this time to petition the governor of knott,  Letcher,  and surrounding counties to encourage them to make arrangements for the homeless and hungry animals, as everyone knows our shelter in Perry County was closed for  awhile for certain reasons, it is now reopened but still no room for homeless animals that people dump out like garbage,  mainly behind my home.  I don't mind helping them because I love animals but I too, can't take anymore I've rescued 40 plus animals and have tried continuously getting help for them whether it be food or shelter  with no luck,  as I look around I'm seeing more and more and one person even said they didn't have the money to pay the 35$ drop off fee, with that being said I want everyone to want what these loyal babies need,  which is housing,  food,  love and care. I ask you please to either build a shelter for knott County and every other community that is in need of one,  or simply make the shelter bigger so they can accept drop offs, I come today to ask,  to beg, please let's save these animals because they are worth it, they weren't given the choice to be here so let's do what we can to help them.  Thank you all and God bless
