The UK is entering it’s forth week of lockdown and during this time we have allowed 15000+ individuals to pass through our airports DAILY!!
The Government have asked us to support the heroic efforts of our incredible NHS staff by continuing a much needed lockdown process. It has asked that we continue to social distance from our loved ones to help flatten the curve and to SAVE lives.
However, we are allowing over 15000 individuals to pass through our airports EVERY SINGLE DAY, without any health checks or correct quarantine process. HOW?

To date over 13,729 people in the UK have been taken before their time and this hideous figure increases hourly. 13,729 families are now grieving for their lost loved ones and yet the Government continue to ignore the health risk 15000 unchecked passengers could cause? the the Government have recorded 27 NHS Doctors, Nurses, Volunteers lives lost through COVID19 (although the Guardian reports a much higher figure of 50+)

It is wholly disrespectful to the 13, 729 who have lost their lives. It is disrespectful the families of those who have lost loved ones. It is disrespectful to the NHS, its staff and volunteers and the 50+ NHS individuals who have lost their lives trying to save ours! It is disrespectful to airline crew, airport workers, Border enforcement agencies and to The ENTIRE UK POPULATION who yesterday were informed lockdown would stay in place for a minimum of three more weeks.

Allowing 15000 PER DAY to enter the UK without health screening, with no powers of quarantine makes UK LOCKDOWN a national mockery.
PLease please PLEASE help save the NHS from buckling, help your families and help save MORE lives by signing this petition and in doing so demanding a review by the transport minister to get this travesty corrected IMMEDIATELY.
