On 18-Feb-2021 Ramesh Sangha, MP from Brampton Centre, for the second time brought disrepute to the Sikh Community of Canada in an inflamatory speech within the House of Commons of Canada by labelling the coummunity as extremists and terrorists.  A video of Ramesh Sangha's remarks can be accessed within the link below.

Prior to this incident Ramesh Sangha voiced allegations publicly in a 3-Sep-2019 interview with the Punjabi-language channel 5AAB labelling members of the Canadian Sikh community as supporters of extremism.

Sikhs have been living in Canada since the turn of the 20th century.  The community has risen from the ashes of racism, prejudice and hardship to make a home for themselves in Canada through hardwork, honesty and loyalty to Canada and it's values. 

Ramesh Sangha's continuation of making inflamatory comments labelling Canadian Sikhs as supporters of extremists and terrorists has hurt the sentiments of Sikhs, it has tarnished the reputation of Sikhs washing away years of goodwill earned through hard work and public participation within the community.  

As Canadians we are standing up to demand that Mr. Ramesh Sangha apologize for his remarks and resign as Member of Parliament.
