In December 2021 the bridge works were completed on the old railway bridge. Sadly, during that time a fence was erected which has blocked access to the wildlife leaving them stranded from their home, the nature reserve. As wildlife are trying to access their home they are dangerously crossing the road, exposing themselves, residents, pedestrians and drivers to a high risk of accidents.
