For too long, I have watched as our beloved state of Indiana has neglected the vast potential of nuclear power. Nuclear energy is not just a personal passion of mine, but it represents the future of energy production and offers a promising solution to some of the environmental challenges we face today.

Nuclear power plants are capable of producing enormous amounts of energy with a minimal impact on the environment. According to the World Nuclear Association, they produce virtually no carbon dioxide or air pollutants during operation. As we fight against global warming and strive to reverse the damages we've inflicted on our environment, we cannot ignore the role that nuclear power can play in favor of cleaner, sustainable energy solutions for Indiana.

Achieving energy independence and environmental sustainability is a compelling long-term investment for our state. Nuclear energy currently provides about 10% of the world’s electricity and is the world’s second-largest source of low-carbon power as reported by the International Energy Agency. We should not miss out on this!

As residents of Indiana, we recognize the need to address these challenges head-on and make necessary changes. By adopting nuclear power, we can step forward into a cleaner, more sustainable future.
