Hood College needs to make all 2020 fall courses available to be taken online as an option for students who can not risk re-entering campus.

My mother and sister both have autoimmune diseases and are immunocompromised. My entire family has asthma. I nearly lost my sister once in 2016 and I do not want to risk losing her again. I am not alone.

Multiple students are worried about putting their and their family's health at risk by returning to campus. The college can promise to do its best, but they can not make sure everyone follows health and safety guidelines. 

The cafeteria would need to be filled past recommended occupancy for students to be able to eat as needed. Prices on dorms have gone up. Students' activity can't be monitored- the kid sitting next to me in class could have just gone to a party with over a hundred people. 

Students should not be forced to choose between risking safety and education. Online classes need to be made an option for every course. We did it before and we can do it again.
