It is inexplicable why Paul O'Grady has not yet received a knighthood or similar honour for the wonderful work he does for animals and animal charities. He is such a kind and compassionate man and deserves recognition for his efforts. His TV programme "For the Love of Dogs" has done so much to raise awareness of the work done at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home as well as rescue centres everywhere. He actively encourages people to "adopt, don't shop" when looking for a pet and also fosters understanding of dog behaviour and good pet ownership.
