Noel Fitzpatrick, known as "Supervet' on the popular Channel 4 series continues to push the boundaries of veterinary medicine and save the lives of many animals that would have otherwise been put to sleep. With his expertise, pioneering treatment and passion, he works tirelessly to save animals from a painful existence or save their lives where other vets would not have the attitude nor skill to do so. He inspires Vets on a national scale and the great British public have taken him in to their hearts for always going that extra mile. His compassion and efforts not only save animals but bring hope and joy to desperate pet owners and their families. He has now launched a charity,  The Humanimal Trust, www.humanimaltrust.org.uk , specifically to champion the simultaneous advancement of animal and human healthcare. He truly is an inspirational leader in his field and an every day 'Hero' to our animal loving nation. He should be honoured for his ground breaking medical achievements and his sincere dedication to both pets and owners.
