Well what a surprising and wonderful day in our Air We Share campaign. Thanks to the Vancouver Sun/The Procince interview and articles we are a hot topic in the media again. Thanks and welcome to all our new supporters and welcome back to those who’ve already been along for the ride for a while.
I’m happy to report that we literally had camera and reporter crews from Global, CTV and CBC all in our condo this afternoon, all overlapping, and we survived it and were rewarded with great coverage by each station on the evening news on January 7. In addition we were featured on the Lynda Steele Show as well as CBC On the Coast. So much coverage and I can only add one link to each update so I will randomly select one for today and share others on subsequent days. I also plan to add the links to the “news coverage” tab so you can check there later this week if you like.
At this point I just encourage you all to keep spreading the word about this campaign, get your paper signatures mailed in (and collect a few others to go with it, keep your signatures company of course!) and then continue writing your own MLAs and the housing minister about why you care and why you feel this political change should happen.
Thanks again and stay tuned for more updates! And again if you are personally affected by smoke in your home, please email us directly at theairweshare@mail.com (not gmail!) so we are able to be in direct contact with you for some other initiatives we are concurrently working on.
