I was contacted last week by a reported for the Vancouver Sun/The Province indicating a desire to do a follow up story on our petition and where things have gotten since August. It was a pleasant surprise and reading the story that Cheryl Chan wrote was even more pleasant, absolutely wonderful. She truly captured the essence of the concern at hand and what we are doing about it. 

We have a few weeks left before the Legislative Assembly resumes session in Victoria. So, I kindly ask that you please make these next two weeks “take a copy of the paper petition everywhere you go and collect as many signatures from your circle of contacts as possible” weeks. There are “bike to work” weeks and “bring your child to work” days or weeks....so now we have “get smoking out of multi-unit dwelling” weeks - officially (as named by me!) the weeks of January 7 and 14th!!

Thanks in advance for your on the ground work gathering signatures and mailing them in. I look forward to an overflowing post box in the coming weeks!!
