In a predominantly AFL state it is an absolute disgrace that an NRL game will be the first major sporting event to be held at the new Perth Stadium.

This is absolutely the worst possible outcome.

Perth Stadium is going to be the new home of WAFL and the home ground of both West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers, history CANNOT show that the first major sporting event held at the new stadium was an NRL game between two teams no-one in WA has heard of or cares about.

This is our Stadium. WA taxpayers have paid for it and we should NOT have to put up with an Eastern States dominated sport being the first to be played there.

Together we can force the Sports Minister to put WA first.
