Jan 26, 2018 — Friends: Yesterday Kix Brooks addressed a packed meeting at Ft. Negley Park. Kix is a remarkable Nashville citizen - over 10 years ago he worked tirelessly to bring attention to the long-neglected Ft. Negley Park and helped raise funds and awareness to have the visitors center built and our public parkland re-opened. We cheered when he recently joined our cause to wrest our public parkland from a 99-year lease and plans to build office space, retail and nearly 300 apartments on this hallowed land. Last night, when asked if we would succeed in our vision he said, "I really have faith in things that matter, and to me, this really matters." He's right. This really matters. Please continue to share this petition and ask new neighbors and friends to become involved in being a part of The Future of Ft. Negley Park.
