Friends, Friday we celebrated the news that our historic parkland is safe. Saturday, on behalf of 4,717 signatures that morning, I delivered yellow roses to our City Councilman, our Mayor, and one of the developers - thanking them for changing their votes, and welcoming them to our team. Sunday, today, I received a prayerful meditation for the work before us from one of our supporters - and the link to "Glory" - below - which he sends in dedication to all of us. And that brings us to the hundreds of tomorrows before us now. You will notice that this petition is not closed. It is not closed because our work, now, is only just beginning. We will call on you to join community meetings for this space, we will call on you to donate money to honor the actions of the past and the activism of today - we will call on you to join us at a concert and at picnics at bake sales and lemonade stands - we will call on you, to help be sure our children and great-grandchildren know that when we come together, anything is possible.
