Citizens for the Future of Ft. Negley Park

Friends, Every spouse of a soldier gone to war (including me), every woman on our coastlines under the cupola called "the widow's walk", every Gold Star Mother; WE... We know what it means to fight for the memory of our grandfathers, husbands, sisters, brothers, and sons gone to war. We know what it means to revel - in the pages of those authors who bring to life the pain, the longing, the perspective, and yes - sometimes - the forgiveness of our enemies - in the way of certainty and of solitude that comes with time, and with perspective of the mistakes we made along the way. A page that is written for how it will live - not through the moment of social media - but through the lens of the values our grandparents, and the hopes we have for our great-grandchildren. That is the lens that NYTimes Best Selling Author, Robert Hicks, has written this piece, linked below. Please read it. Please share it. Please remind all who matter to you that this land, this story, also matters to you. Sign on to our cause. Because of what you believe, because of what you see. Because silence is not always golden. God Bless the 2,771 laborers at Ft. Negley Park - who preserved our union. God Bless celebrated author Robert Hicks for reminding us we can be better than our past. Sincerely, Alice Ganier Rolli District 17 Resident Great-Grandaughter of a founder of Radnor Lake
