Tito family descendent loses preservation challenge over $65M Fountain Residential project in Uptown. Judge throws out legal challenge against demolishing Colwell Street garage that was part of a compromise plan to enable a 277-unit multifamily development to go forward in the heart of Uptown.

Yep, that’s me! I gave it all I could. I truly believe since the entire property was designated as ONE Historic Landmark - which obviously included the very historic garage - it should not have been broken up as two separate parcels. And the most interesting outcome during this very long and arduous journey is that my family’s history is the reason for the designation yet the family has absolutely no voice in the entire matter.  None. �����️
