Friends,

Over 18,000 of us have already raised our voices by signing the petition—but now it’s time to take the next step. Service members are being quietly separated through the back door—without recognition or full benefits. We cannot allow them to be dismissed without dignity after years of honorable service.

📧 Please email the Air Force Inspector General at saf.ighotline@us.af.mil. If every one of us writes, they will not be able to ignore us.

Just copy, paste, and send the message below—or add your own words to make it personal:

Subject: Request for Investigation into Rescinded TERA Retirements

To: saf.ighotline@us.af.mil

Dear Inspector General,

These service members have honored their commitment to the Air Force and Space Force. They wore the uniform with pride, served with distinction, and operated under the belief that the institution would reciprocate that loyalty—especially during their transition out of service.

I respectfully request that the Inspector General conduct a thorough investigation into:

  • The legality and ethics of retroactively rescinding approved TERA retirements
  • Why no appellate process was provided to affected members
  • Whether these actions disproportionately affect or target transgender service members
  • What corrective action can be taken to reinstate retirements already granted

At minimum, those with approved TERA dates and orders should have their retirements honored. The credibility of leadership decisions, the morale of the force, and the dignity of those who served depend on it.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.

Respectfully,
[Your Name]
