We are a community, united and strong, rallying around a cause that is close to our hearts. We have gathered 290 signatures so far on this petition, just shy of the 300 required. We know we can reach this number and go beyond because we believe in the power of our collective voice.

Our goal is simple yet profound - to rename Rainier Beach High School after Legendary Coach Michael S Bethea. Coach Bethea has not only been an outstanding coach but also an inspiring figure for all students at Rainier Beach High School and in the state of Washington.  His dedication to his work and his unwavering commitment to nurturing young talent has left an enduring mark on countless lives.
