HonorHealth is planning to build a 24-hour emergency center on the lot next to Mountainside Fitness at 54th and Shea.

Reasons to fight this:

1. 24/7 EMERGENCY ROOM WITH AMBULANCES COMING AT ALL HOURS.

2. Lot is zoned for PAD-2 permitting ONLY a health club/tennis courts. It was designed to be a pleasant adjunct to a residential area.  As it has been for almost 40 years.

3.  Proposed height of the project is almost identical to Mountainside (which is huge)   

Mountainside escaped scrutiny because they did not require rezoning as they are “a health club”. No consideration was given to it's size and illegal signage (which we are also fighting). 

Any other use of this lot REQUIRES REZONING, and we need to block this from happening.  Please circulate and encourage others to do so.  Together we can preserve our neighborhood and quality of life.
