Cam Newton's undeniable contribution to the Carolina Panthers franchise can't be overemphasized. As fans, witnessing him grow into the most prolific player in the franchise's history and undeniably the only MVP has been both inspiring and exhilarating. Unfortunately, the treatment meted out to him following his involuntary departure from the team has been quite disappointing.

During his time with the Panthers, Cam Newton broke numerous NFL and franchise records, including the most combined touchdowns for a rookie (35), most passing yards by a rookie in a game (432), and most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a season (14). His prowess on the field was recognized in 2015 when he was named the NFL MVP, the only player in Panthers' history to achieve this feat.

Cam’s determination and ability to bring energy and passion to the game made him a fan favorite and instrumental in the team's successes, including a Super Bowl appearance in 2016. And yet, his departure from the team in 2020 was involuntary and less than respectful, leaving a sour taste in the mouths of many fans and individuals who appreciate his contributions to the franchise and the game.

This petition seeks to right that wrong. We're calling on the Carolina Panthers organization to recognize Cam Newton's substantial contributions and induct him into the Carolina Panthers Hall of Honor and confer upon him the rights, and access of all of the Panther Legend/Alumni community members,  as well as visual representation throughout the premises of Bank of America stadium only befitting of the most prolific player to have adoned the black and blue uniform, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and  mural(s), in other words, put some respect on his name and accomplishments and admit in a show of representation,  that he is an integral piece of KEEP POUNDING COULTURE. His dedication, tenacity, and record-breaking performances, which are deeply etched in the annals of our beloved team's history, certainly merit such recognition. Remember, acknowledging the grandeur of our past, helps forge an even greater future.
