Following discussions with Honda, the narcolepsy community was able to convince them of the error of making fun of those with chronic medical conditions. As a result, Honda and RPA produced 2 public service announcements about narcolepsy and started broadcasting them nationally in early November 2014. Hopefully these PSAs will help raise awareness about narcolepsy and lead those who are undiagnosed, but symptomatic, to seek medical care.
