Honda released a few of their 2016 vehicles lineup with an Android infotainment system. The new 2016 Civic and Accord support Android Auto/CarPlay, however Honda has not committed to updating any other 2016 vehicle to support this functionality as some other manufacturers have. We ask that Honda commit to updating all 2016 models with the display audio infotainment system to support Android Auto/CarPlay like their other new 2016 models. Some of the models not currently being supported have been used as prototypes for testing this same functionality, yet the production version does not have this functionality, which can prove how useful and convenient both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can be, as well, how having these features can help drivers focus on the road and not on their phones. It's clearly unfair to have people spend large amounts of money and vehicles that can't be retrofitted with software updates.
