There are far too many deaths and injuries on our roads due to tourists not knowing or obliging to the road rules. We need tougher rules on tourists wanting to drive on our roads. New Zealand has some of the most hardest roads to drive in the world and yet anyone with a license from their own country can come and drive on them. They should be tested about their knowledge of our roads and road rules before being granted permission to drive here. An online test before hand could save thousands of lives!
