It was recently announced by the Minister for Social Housing, Brad Hazard, that his government will reconsider moving Mary and everyone else in her situation out of our community. This is a major victory for all who helped. A huge thank you on behalf of Mary and the others.
It is still important to keep the pressure going though so if you know of people who have not signed or groups you could share this petition with please do! Feel free to email Mr Baird directly at premier@nsw.gov.au
We are also working to save the Sirius building - a low maintenance apartment complex purpose built only a few decades ago to allow older people and people with disability to stay in our community.
