Requesting the Maximum Sentence for the murderer of 18 year old Kyle Underhill

Requesting the Maximum Sentence for the murderer of 18 year old Kyle Underhill
The Issue
On November 16, 2011 Kyle Underhill (18) was brutally murdered in three horrific ways by his friend Thomas Liming. Thomas Liming murdered Kyle by beating him which caused numerous bruises to his head as well as several broken ribs, strangled him and then left his body submerged in water leaving him to die in a cold Long Island marsh. After an extensive search by the Suffolk County Police Department his body was found in in a hole covered by a board and his death ruled a homicide. Four years to the date of the murder Thomas Liming was found guilty of Murder in the 2nd Degree by a Long Island jury and his sentencing is scheduled for January 27, 2016. Since his murder the impact to those who love and cherish him has been devastating. Kyle was a son, grandson, brother, cousin, friend, confidant, mentor and he meant so much to and is loved by so many people. By murdering Kyle, Thomas Liming gave Kyle's family and friends a life sentence without a person who means so much to them and this devastating loss crosses multiple generations. The only acceptable sentence for Thomas Liming is the maximum sentence which is 25 to Life. If you have been personally impacted by this case or know someone that has been impacted by this horrific crime we ask that you join this petition requesting that Thomas Liming be given the maximum sentence. Thank you for your support. - Kyle's Family and Friends
