There are a growing number of young teenage girls in NZ currently suffering from serious adverse events following the Gardasil vaccines, and a distinct reluctance on the part of the medical profession in NZ to acknowledge that there is a very real concern surrounding this vaccine. This petition is that the Health Select Committee of the NZ House of Representatives, for the sake of young healthy teenage New Zealanders, suspend the NZ use of Gardasil vaccinations until the investigations of overseas countries have been completely carefully analysed; e.g: The European Medicine Authority’s (EMA) investigation of the flood of serious side effects being reported all over Europe; The filing of class actions against Merck as manufacturer of Gardasil in several countries; The suspension by Japan of it’s HPV vaccination programme due to ongoing safety issues; The joint research by Denmark and Japan on the thousands of serious reactions in both these countries; And the apparent cover up and/or denial by IMAC/Medsafe in New Zealand of the true situation of Gardasil reactions in this country. As a country known to set trends, we're falling way behind the 8-ball on this one! We would also implore health authorities in New Zealand to issue a public statement regarding the possible dangers surrounding Gardasil. Without this, many young girls will continue to suffer in silence as the symptoms are written off to a range of various other reasons.
