As a local resident of Cairns for the past 20 years, like so many others living in remote Queensland, we are sick of zero choice for our electricity provider and retailer. How is this even legal? In South East Queensland, they are spoilt for choice on who they can have as their provider and that means a more competitive market and prices. For years we have been complaining about this problem so it confuses me how this has never changed. All I ask is for a few more retail options to assist with more affordable electricity. Let's send a real message to the Queensland Government that enough is enough and that we want positive action now.
