Bullying affects thousands of young people across the nation causing depression, anxiety, stress and suicide. If adults were subjected to the constant bullying that young people experience in schools - it would be considered assult and charges could be laid.

In my own personal experience, bullying caused me to not want to go to school. On more than one occasion I contacted police with no action taken and schools left powerless to act. Bullies in schools are empowered by the lack of consequence and schools across the nation are trying many different ways to reduce bullying - to little or no success.

Cyber bullying is at an all time high. 

We need to do something about this from a legislative perspective. It's time to crack down on bullying as it's ruining young people's lives.

It's time that Australia says no to bullying by making it a criminal act. Psychological and physical bullying is not ok.
