Heritage of Radhanagari Dam is in Danger! The old power house installed in 1952, which is still working consistantly and is in very good condition is in danger and must be protected. Some Govt. officials are trying to demolish this royal legacy for their self corrupt interests. They have misleaded the Govt. and passed a resolution No.9 dated 17th May 2003 in Mantralaya Mumbai to decommission the old power housere and to replace it with new one under BOT. This old power house is not only working fine but it has historical importance since it is installed by HH Rajaram Maharaja to fulfill the dream of HH Rajashri Shahu Maharja. Please STOP this.

All the Grampanchyats of this taluka have passed this resolution in their Gram Sabhas NOT to decommision the old power house and preserve it as a national heritage. This is also very important considering the in coming Maharashtra Elections.

Hon. Chief Minister is requested to interven and STOP this immediately.
