As per Sikh Religion person may be male or female wearing TURBAN ("Dastar") would not wear Helmets called "Lohtops" in Punjabi Language.In respect of Sikh Religion exemption to wear Helmet has been given not only on National level but also on International level.
Sir Women are more prone to head injuries than man during any accident on roads.Moreover Sikhism is known for saviour of lives always worked for saving lives .But women who do not wear TURBAN "Dastar" and women of other religion who do not have this exemption is also enjoying this exemption just becuase of  " unclear " ruling .

We request you to kindly make it clear that women who will not wear TURBAN "Dastar" while driving two wheeler would not be exempted to WEAR HELMET.
