Bank Employees (Pension) Regulations 1993 Further to our circular No.PD/CIR/76/G(ii)/1842 dated 17th March,1994,we are enclosing herewith:
a) Memorandum of clarifications on some of the provisions in the pension Regulations (Annexure-I)
b) Draft of the Trust Deed for forming the pension Fund (Annexure-II)
WE ARE ENCLOSING HEREWITH FOR YOUR INFORMATION, MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF SMALL COMMITTEE ON PENSION, HELD WITH UNIONS/ OFFICERS ASSOCIATIONS ON 26th. MARCH, 1994. (Annexure III AND IV)
Suitable modifications if necessary may be effected in consultation with your Legal Department, in regard to the Trust Deed. In particular implication of Indian Stamp Act may be examined while reframing Clause 5 and 6 of the preamble of the Trust /Deed.If, there is any doubt regarding interpretation of a clause in the Regulations, the matter may be referred to IBA.
