PENSION REVISION - HON'BLE PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE CONCLUDES ITS STUDY TOUR
My Dear Friends,
PENSION REVISION - THE HON'BLE PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENT ASSURANCES - VISITS TO BHUBANESHWAR ( 20 09 2021 ) & KOLKOTA (23 09 2021)
During the above visits, some of the retiree organisations have submitted memoranda at both the centres.
BEFI , is the only constituent of UFBU, who have submitted a memorandum at Kolkata yesterday (23 09 2021)
All of them have assured the membership that they would release the contents of the memoranda submitted to the Hon'ble Parliamentary Committee for the benefit of the membership.
As of now, they are yet to comply with their promises to make their memoranda contents public.
However, I once again annex here the link for the Appeal that I made to the Hon'ble Parliamentary committee (dtd. 19 09 2021) which I already communicated to you all.

That apart, some of our senior learned friends , by virtue of their close proximity , had even volunteered to directly contact over phone and appealed to the Hon'ble Chairman of the Visiting Parliamentary Committee, which I cite as an example, the following:

REVISION ON PENSION /100% DA TO BANK RETIREES : SANCTION HAS TO BE ACCORDED BY DFS / MOF ONLY.
THE HON'BLE PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE OF RAJYA SABHA HAS A SPECIFIED ROLE IN THE WAKE OF THE ASSURANCES MADE IN THE PARLIAMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT WHILE ANSWERING THE 2 QUESTIONS RAISED ON THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE SAYING THAT "ONCE IBA SUBMITS A PROPOSAL ON PENSION REVISION, THE SAME WILL BE CONSIDERED BY MOF/DFS
UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, WHATEVER VIEWS THAT COME FROM ANY QUARTER IS ONLY JUST EXPRESSION OF THEIR VIEWS ONLY .
NOTWITHSANDING THE ABOVE, WE HAVE GOT TO WAIT TILL MOF ISSUES OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION SOON WITH DIVINE BLESSINGS.
