I take pleasure to annex here the communication received from AKBRF (Kerala) informing about their meeting our Hon'ble Finance Minister - Smt. Nirmala Sitharamanji to submit a memorandum under the leadership of Com. K. Srinivasan, its chairman in Kochi on 28th. February, 2021.
It's indeed gratifying to note the reiteration of the assurance as already made by the Hon'ble Finance Minister by herself:
while responding to the plea of Com. K Srinivasan (Chairman- AKBRF- Kerala) to the visiting dignitary, to directly take up the matter with IBA concerning the retirees' issues, Smt. Nirmala Sitharamanji assured of her commitment for the cause of the bank retirees and "quipped": " “otherwise what will happen to my assurances?”

We are immensely thankful to Smt. Nirmala Sitharamanji , our Hon'ble Finance Minister for her empathy in reiterating her concern for the Bank Retirees.
I congratulate Com. K. Srinivasan and his team for timing their efforts to meet the visiting dignitary at Kochi yesterday - 28th Feb. 2021.

AKBRF team under the leadership of Chairman of AIBRF,submitted a memorandum to Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman on 28th February 2021at Cochin- Kerala at 3.30 pm.
The Chairman explained the problems of retirees for which the FM have a patient hearing and assured that she will definitely look into the matter: and quipped - “otherwise what will happen to my assurances?”
Com. K. Sreenivasan also requested Finance Minister to follow up further directly with IBA to which she expressed her assent.
The representation submitted to FM is given separately. To this representation, a copy of the original AIBRF representation to Central Ministers and MP’s was also attached.....
