To: ALL MY FRIENDS ON THE MAILING LIST.
My Dear Friends
REFERRING TO THE ABOVE, I REPRODUCE THE OBSERVATIONS MADE BY COM. R. K. VERMA OF SHAHANPUR FOR YOUR INFORMATION.
ALSO ANNEXED HERE IS THE VIEW POINT AIRED BY COM. JUGAL KISHORE JULKA - CONTENTS ARE SELF EXPLICIT:
QUOTE:
" Please be aware that Family pension updation has been allowed by DFS as it was recommended & requested by mgt. Committe of IBA. During XI BPS it was recommended by IBA to DFS saying that the cost of the same is bearable and no major burden on pension Trust Funds.
No proposal of Pension Updation has been sent by IBA to DFS/ GOI till date.
So,nothing Pending with GOI on updation of Pension as per RBI Formula demanded by us. AIBRF/CPBRO are miss leading retirees on this issue that it is likely to happen soon.
A PROPOSAL IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED TO TO DFS FOR UPDATING PENSION FROM PENSION TRUST FUND.
Until and unless such proposal is received by DFS nothing is going to happen on updating pension this may kindly be noted very carefully.
HENCE WE DEMAND.... SENDING RECOMMENDATION TO DFS - GOI IMMEDIATELY.,
Failing which nothing will be available except false "RECORD NOTE".
Regards
R. K. Verma

MY DEAR FRIENDS,
HISTORY REPEATS..."?"
Annexed here is the joint circular dated 17 09 2020 issued by the constituents of the working group for workmen (excepting BEFI who stayed away in solidarity to the fraternity of Bank Pensioners and are on their crusade for our cause) detailing out various issues on which a broad understanding is reached to pave way for signing the final settlement under ID Act.

Of course, Pensioners issues have no place to mention as in the past.
HISTORY REPEATS… !?!
annexed here is the link for the video clipping of the Nation -wide mass protest demonstrations being organized by BEFI:

We express our sincere thanks to BEFI and support them in their endeavors for our collective cause.

The Bank Retirees ate the most neglected class in the Banking Industry by MOF, IBA, UFBU and all major Retirees Associations for unknown reasons so far. Due to it good number of Retirees are suffering from financially hardships especially the pre 2002 Retirees and all Family Pensionars. The Retirees Associations have made all the Retirees as their Life Members and collected huge fee and donations over the years.
Now also there is nothing for Retirees in the MOU signed between IBA & UFBU.
The Retirees Associations should take the initiative in this difficult period and severe all ties with UFBU if they don't agrees to settle at least Pension Updation and Free Medical Insurance Scheme for Retirees.
IF UFBU DOESN'T AGREE THEN AIBRF, CBPRO & AIBPARC SHOULD GO TO SUPREME COURT AND OBTAIN A STAY ORDER AGAINST SIGNING THE BIPARTITE SETTLEMENT AS PER MOU, IF RETIREES DEMANDS ARE NOT INCLUDED AND SETTLED ALONG WITH WAGE REVISION AS BOTH ARE INSEPARABLE.
There is no derth of money with these Retirees Associations and they are able to engage a battery of Seniormost Lawyers of Supreme Court. This is what is required in my opinion in the present circumstances.
