If this letter of Sri Murthy cannot awaken the UFBU at least now, it should be a pointer to all the present employees of Banks that once they retire, they are also going to experience
doomsday in the hands of these leaders and also in the hands of the successive leadership as well.
How long should the pensioners suffer in their hands ?
The death of several pensioners by now who must have suffered penury post-retirement has also not evoked any sympathy in them at the least.

We, retirees are hit hard by high inflation, where present pension is not sufficient for us to pull, keeping in mind of our expenses on medical, what ever deposits, we kept is also eroded and interest rate is continuingly reduced over the period of time. So updation of pension is only hope to give us some relief.

First of all IBA must abolished and in its place Pay commission should brought in and retirees representative must appointed in all negotiations so as to minimise the grivences. We all should all come close to get our issues settled with DFS/Govt. Even we should not believe even UFBU as they never worried about us and never bring issues on table for settlement. Truly said. It is condemnable that the so-called United Forum failed to include the issues of retirees in the recently signed MOU. Further UFBU maintains stoic silence as to whether retirees issues are listed along with other issues for being discussed and settled during the 90 days from now.

As expected, Retirees are befooled by the IBA and major constituents of trade unions presumably due to their self interests and time tested deceitfulness the so called leaders possessed ever since the inception of pension in Banks.. IBA is patronaged by these pseudo saviours who always showed sympathy towards the retirees and stabbed them at the back at crucial junctures. It is shameful on the part of serving employees who show their faithfulness in these betrayers.

Dear Friends,
As age advances and chances of retirees issues being considered turning remote, atlast there dawns a slim ray of hope on the horizon in the form of improvement of family pension to 30% of basic pay. The social media reports that updation/improvement in pension for retirees is also on the cards is a matter of psychological solace.
The relentless efforts of freelance writers and activists like sri DS Murty garu , , SRI CN prasad, sri Palani sri Venugopalan , sri NSS, sri J.somasekhara and many others is laudable.
The stellar role played by sri DS murthy, besides many others mentioned above, in taking up the retirees' issues with management, fighting court cases(1616-1684), ensuring implementation court verdicts, corresponding with DFS/IBA, PM/President, CJI and effectively using the social media( change.org) to highlight pensioners common concerns and on the other hand keeping liaison with retirees' unions and going to the extent of exposing and antagonising directly their inept approaches to common interest of bank retirees even when no one apparently seems to bother about, needs humble and special mention……”

Political leaders are taking the representations for eye wash and throwing the representations in to a dust bins .
After some gap of time persons like Sri DS Murthy Garu also has been requesting and sent hundreds of representations .
