MY DEAR FRIENDS,
ONGOING XI BP NEGATIONS .....YET ANOTHER VOICE OF DISSENT .....
INBEF JOINS BEFI TO VOICE THEIR PROTEST NARRATING THE ANTECEDENTS THAT ULTIMATELY RESULTED IN A RAW-DEAL FOR THE RETIREES , AS DOCTRINED IN THE RECENT MOU SIGNED ON 22 07 2020.
THE MAJOR CONSTITUENTS IN UFBU HAVE BEEN OVER RIDING THEIR MINORITY COUNTERPART -BRETHREN IN THE BP NEGOTIONS ... THE ILL TREATMENT METED OUT AGAINST THEM HAVE BEEN VIVIDLY EXPLAINED IN THEIR COMMUNICATIONS :

"Bank Employees Federation of India did not sign the MOU. We had dissatisfaction on several issues which we pointed out in different rounds of negotiation including today; as also in successive UFBU meetings last of which was held yesterday....During successive negotiations and UFBU meetings, we expressed our firm commitment towards issues of the retirees particularly in regard to Pension.
So far updation of pension is concerned, IBA did not share any data for actuarial calculation despite assurances given during the talks. Of late, they proposed for ad hoc increase to which BEFI expressed principled opposition....But none of these came into serious discussion due to indifferent attitude of the negotiating committee of IBA.
We understand that updation of pension requires detailed calculation which may require some time.
But during the whole three years of negotiation IBA did not come up with positive view.
We suggested to include this in the MOU to continue necessary exercise and discussion in future...
Today IBA was not interested to discuss this issue...."

"...Since IBA called virtual meeting on 22nd July 2020, you arranged a virtual meeting amongst UFBU constituents on 21st July 2020 and the said meeting began at 10.00 P M. As the audio was very poor, no fruitful discussion could take place. Mr.Nagarajan, GS AIBOA left the meeting halfway. ........This is not the first time that such type of eleventh-hour changes is made in the wage settlement drafts. Shifting of base Index from 1616 to 1684 while deciding the wages which was also challenged judicially. All the earlier three settlements were challenged. Thus, introducing last minute changes without taking constituents into confidence and not discussing with them shows the attitude of thrusting upon the decisions on minority organisations and dragging them is totally undemocratic approach being followed by majority organisations.

LET US ALL JOINTLY MOVE ONTO THE STREETS TO VOICE OUR PROTEST TO MAKE THE POWERS-THAT BE TO COME TO THEIR SENSES TO RESOLVE OUR ISSUES WELL BEFORE THE SIGNING OF THE XI BP SETTLMENT FINALLY !
RETIRED DEFENCE PERSONNEL ARE OUR LIVE EXAMPLE WHO RESORTED TO STREET FIGHT FOR THE RESTORATION OF "OROP" - THEIR LONG AWAITED COVETED DEMAND !

PERSONNEL WHO HAVE BEEN OUR “TORCH BEARS” WHEREBY WE WILL BE FORCING OUR DEFUNCT LEADERSHIP TO COME INTO THEIR SENSES AND JOIN OUR FIGHT ONTO THE STREETS –
THE ONLY PATHWAY SHOWN BY OUR RETIRED ARMY PERSONNEL BEING OUR TORCH BEARERS !!!!
LET US FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS.......
FRIENDS ! TIME HAS COME TO VOICE YOUR FEELINGS TO THE
LEADERSHIP........
