Adverting to the above, I am happy to inform you all that the arrangements are being expedited to initiate contempt proceedings on all the banks on similar lines to the one already filed against SBI.
The legal notices are being expected to be served on all the remaining banks shortly to cover all the affected retirees - (01 01 1998 - 30 04 2005) for the payment of commutation arrears in terms of the order of the Hon'ble Karnataka High Court, Bengaluru as upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
