MY DEAR FRIENDS,
Pension updation has been one of the prime issues concerning the fraternity of bank Retirees for quite a long time.
This issue assumes lot of importance owing to the fact that the same is accepted by the Government for RBI retirees recently as a result of a long drawn battle – both organizational as also on the legal front – A joint sustained struggle indeed! by the entire work force of RBI.
In sequel to the above, positive indications are already signaled to extend this benefit to the bank employees too – a welcome positive mood of the Government which necessarily need to be utilized properly by the leadership of UFBU the way their counterparts in RBI succeeded in their efforts as torch-bearers.
The following positive indication comes as a solace to the lamenting lot of the bank retirees who have been hard-hit by inflation for quite a long time
I hope that the leadership of UFBU would utilize best this congenial atmosphere to clinch this long awaited issue during the ongoing wage settlement by sinking all their differences within.
I fervently hope that the UFBU leadership would rise to the occasion to follow the path as shown by their counterparts in RBI.

There seems to be lot of variations in the multiplying factors as communicated by AIBEA in its letter ref.No. No. 28/126/2019/10 18-4-2019
AS PER THE RBI COMMUNICATION THE ENHANCEMENT IN BASIC FOR ALL THE RETIREES WOULD BE FAR MORE THAN THE CALCULATIONS AS WORKED OUT BY AIBEA.....
