I Pray Your Lordship- Sri Ranjan Gogoi, Hon’ble Chief Justice of India........”SOS”

 My Dear friends,

I have today addressed a letter to Sri Ranjan Gogoi congratulating His Lordship on his assuming office as the Chief Justice of India recently. 

I made an attempt to draw His Lordship’s attention, among other things, to the following:

-      The pathetic plight of the Bank Retirees

-      The discrimination and harassment meted out against them

-      The relentless efforts of our comrades to fight back for justice unmindful of the frustrating experiences at the fag-end of their lives.   In this connection, I made an effort to draw the attention of His Lordship to the  CONTRADICTING STANCES  TAKEN BY THE APEX JUDICIARY  while disposing of the cases related to the bank retirees  within a very short span of  a few months– ie:-

     * 01. JUDGMENT IN 1616 - 1684 ISSUE:-

                                            A comprehensive Judgment dated 13th. February,  2018   In CA  # 001892- 001912 of 2018 while disposing the Writ Appeals filed by  IBA/MOF/Bank Managements - IN FAVOUR OF THE BANK RETIREES..

       * 02. JUDGMENT IN 100% DA ISSUE:-

                                            An inchoate Judgment dated 16th. May,  2018 in CA # 5252 - 5255  (which has been kept reserved for pronouncement since 16th. August, 2017)

                                            I vividly explained the ill-conceived antecedents and the MODUS OPERANDI   on the part of the Bank Managements/IBA/MOF combine to mislead the Hon'ble Bench , leading  to such a glaring discrimination much detrimental to the lamenting lot of our  fraternity.

                                            In the above back drop, I made my humble prayer to His Lordships for a deed of Solace
