Let me at the outset, express my deep sense of gratitude to you all for all your affectionate concern showered on me......
THE AGGREGATE OUTLAY OF PENSION CORPUS OF ALL THE BANKS PUT TOGETHER WILL BE AROUND Rs.2 LAKH CRORES - MORE THAN THAT OF A SIZE OF A LARGE/MEDIUM SIZED BANK.
THE CORPUS BEING A TRUST PROPERTY MEANT FOR THE UTILIZATION FOR THE SOLE WELFARE OF ITS BENEFICIARIES EXCLUSIVELY. - Ie. BANK PENSIONERS -BOTH THE EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE - THE CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION BETWEEN A TRUSTEE AND BENEFICIARY, IS THAT OF FIDELITY IN NATURE WHICH CARRIES FIDUCIARY RELATIONSHIP- WHERE UTMOST GOOD FAITH AND TRUST IS REQUIRED.
LET US REMEMBER THAT OUR PENSION SCHEME IS A "SINKING FUND" WHICH MAY LAST FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 30-40 YEARS. THE LEFT OVER SURPLUS IN THE CORPUS WOULD BE TRANSFERRED TO THE COFFERS OF THE GOVERNMENT CONSEQUENTLY - BY LOOTING US......BY DEPRIVING US OF OUR LEGITIMATE FINANCIAL RELIEVES WHEN WE ARE ALIVE.... ULTIMATELY, IT LOOKS TO ME AS THOUGH !!! THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO MAKE A BOOTY OUT OF OUR COFFINS !!
No Governments worth their names had never before look at the Bank working class sympathetically in the past, and the present Government is not an exception.
