My Dear friends, The Banks have not carried out the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court while implementing the 1616-1684 issue, in its letter and spirit as pronounced by the Apex Court. Commutation arrears together with interest component has not been passed on to the eligible retirees as envisaged in the Judgment dated 13th. February, 2018 as pronounced by the Hon’ble Supreme Court. No uniformity has been maintained by the banks while implementing the orders. They have done away with the established practices in the past, while implementing the Orders of the country’s Highest body of Judiciary. Therefore, as the aggrieved parties to the litigation, we have taken up the matter with our managment (Syndicate Bank).
