My Dear firends, You must be aware that some of our ordinary members even, have been actively associated themselves voluntarily for the cause of the fraternity of Bank Retirees. One such of them is, our friend Sri M S Sidhu - a retiree from the Oriental Bank of Commerce who has been on his crusade for our common cause. I reproduce the text of his latest communication addressed to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs ( A portfolio also being headed by Sri Arunjaitely himself, in addition to the MOF). In his letter, Sri Sidhu has questioned the very existence of IBA in the eyes of the Law of the Land. Being the signatories to the "historic "record note - the so called "Magna Carta", both IBA and UFBU have jointly stepped into the same shoes as our enemies creating "Road Blocks" in our struggle for justice. This letter of Sri Sidhu , assumes lot of importance and very much pertinent in the wake of the negative role being played by IBA/UFBU much detrimental to the interests of the Bank Retirees as a whole.
