My Dear Friends,
I take pleasure to annex here with the mail that I received just a little while ago, from one of our active members - viz: Sri C. Venugopal garu who has been on his crusade for the cause of the Bank Pensioners relentlessly.. AT HIS INSTANCE, A LEGAL NOTICE IS SERVED ON THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE, GOVT.OF INDIA IN PURSUIT OF THE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS ALREADY INITIATED BY HIM .
I also append therein my response to his followup action. In this connection, I request one and all to contribute their might in their own way to carry the message to "powers that be"
besides collecting the required information through RTA. Our friend, Sri Sidhu of Oriental Bank of Commerce should be our role model to follow. MY CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH THE COMRADES SRI VENUGOPAL AND SRI SIDHU, FOR THEIR INDIVUDAL EFFORTS
On my part, today I have again sent my reminders to many of the VVIPs . In fact, I have been sending my reminders on daily /weekly/monthly basis depending upon their position and placement. Click the following for details:

TO:
Smt. Anjuly Chib Duggal, Secretary( Banking), Ministry of Finance, Govt.of India, Jeevan Deep Building, Parliament Street, New Delhi – 110 001
Under instructions from my client Sri. C.N.Venugopalan, S/o late Sri. K.R. Narayanan, “Nadanam”, Kesari Junction, North Paravur, Ernakulum, Kerala, Pin- 683513, I hereby issue the following
NOTICE
My client, former Director of State Bank of Travancore and Ex.Manager of Union Bank of India submitted a representation to you against the unlawful implementation of the Joint Note dated 27.04.2010 signed by Indian Banks’ Association and Trade Unions circumventing the statutory Pension Regulations in public sector banks under your control. Though the issues were to be addressed by you, you referred the same to Indians Banks’ Association, unfortunately, without any consideration by Government of India. In such circumstances, my client was dragged into legal proceedings by approaching Hon’ble High court of Kerala through WPC No. 21532/2017 and Hon’ble High Court was pleased to direct you through judgment dated 30.06.2017 to consider the said representation (Ext. P1) after affording an opportunity of hearing to my client. On receipt of the Judgment, My client intimated the same to you for your consideration on 08.07.2017. Since there was no response from your part, my client issued a reminder on 08.08.2017, along with the details he had to depose before you, to facilitate the disposal of the representation even without a personal hearing. Even though you have received the both letters, till this date there was no step to redress the grievance of my client from your side.
The inaction on your part to comply with the lawful judgment dated 30.06.2017 of the Hon’ble High Court in WPC. No. 21532/2017 is nothing but contempt of Court. You have willfully, without obeying the directions in referred judgment, made yourself liable to be proceeded against for committing contempt of the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
In the above circumstances, I hereby call upon you to comply the lawful judgment dated 30.06.2017 of Hon’ble High Court in WPC. No. 21532/2017 within 15 days from the date of receipt of this notice, failing which my client will be constrained to proceed against you for civil and criminal contempt as per law.
Thanking you
yours faithfully,
UNQUOTE:
Dear Sri Venugopal garu,
It's a good followup effort on your part.
Let pressure be mount up from all quarters - It must be our endevour to address letters to VVIPs in political and beurocracy, press, as many in number as possible by one and all who actively responds with their day-to-day comments/views on various issues , unmindful of the reactions for their letters, in response.
We have also to initiate to get the information from the Banks the way Sri Sidhu of Oriental Bank of Commerce did to expose the fraudulent manipulations in the Pension Corpus , indulged by the Oriental Bank of Commerce
THIS MASS ACTION ON OUR PART INDIVIDUALLY, ASSUMES LOT OF IMPORTANCE AS IT WOULD CERTAINLY CREATE RIPPLES IN THE POWER CIRCLES.
